The fifth edition of the Everest Premier League (EPL) is scheduled to take place in the last week of November. According to the organizer EPL Cricket, the tournament will be held from November 12 to 26. According to the team, the Nepal Cricket Association (NCA) has also given approval for organizing the tournament.
The organizers have also claimed that preparations are being done to make the competition grand and successful this time. The organizers, issuing a press release, said that talks were being held with TV networks of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and other cricketing nations to reach out to the worldwide audience.
The EPL founder and CEO Aamir Akhtar said that the tournament was a source of pride for Nepal and would help strengthen Nepali cricket, create employment and increase tourism potential. Last year, Chitwan Tigers had won the tournament.
