Nepal Telecom has signed an agreement with the Central Zoo under the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) to sponsor food for few animals including a tiger and birds for one year. The NT has lend its helping hand to the Central Zoo to feed the animals under its Corporate Social Responsibility, according to a press release issued by the Central Zoo.
Sangita Khadka Pahadi, chief business officer on behalf of the Nepal Telecom and director Rachana Shah, on behalf of the Central Zoo inked an agreement to this effect on Sunday. Member secretary at the NTNC Sharad Adhikari and other sernior officials of both the organizations were present during the signing in ceremony.
On the occasion NT’s Chief business officer Pahadi remarked that this is just a beginning and in the coming days NT and the Central Zoo can work together to promote mutual interest. On the occasion member secretary of NTNC Adhikari said that as the zoo is attrating more and more tourists, such type of cooperation will be beneficial for both the institutions.
