Twenty two climbers scale Mt. Dhaulagiri

A team of 22 mountaineers, including 10 foreigners, have scaled Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 metre). According to Man Bahadur GC, spokesperson of the Department of Tourism, this was the first successful climb to the mountain during this season. Mt. Dhaulagiri is the seventh highest mountain in the world. According to the department, 505 mountaineers of 61 expedition teams have taken permission to climb 18 mountains this spring season. Of these, 204 people from 42 countries will be scaling Mt. Everest (8848.86 metre), the highest peak in the world. During this season, the department collected 297.4 million as royalty for the climbing.
