Gold price reaches 1 lakh 1,900 per tola

The price of gold has reached Rs 101,900 per tola (11.664 grams) in the domestic market on Sunday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold Silver Dealers’ Association, the precious yellow metal was traded for Rs 99,900 per tola on Friday. The gold price jumped by a margin of Rs 2,000 per tola the next day. Similarly, the price of silver rose by Rs 35 to Rs 1,415 per tola on Sunday. The price rise of gold and silver followed their price surge in the international market, said Federation President Manik Ratna Shakya.
