Nepal on Monday reported as many as 10,319 new cases of COVID-19 along with 2,540 recoveries and four deaths, according to the latest data furnished by the Ministry of Health and Population.
As many as 21,201 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Of them, 8,054 PCR and 2,265 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus. Nepal’s Covid – 19 tally has jumped to 1033626 as of Monday. So far, 824,239 people earlier infected by corona virus have recovered from the disease, states the Home Ministry.
There are currently 82,831 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. So far, 11,659 people have succumbed to the viral infection across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley alone recorded 4,676 cases of the virus on Monday.
