Launching of Japanese Skin Care Brand Momotani and Meishoku

Famous Japanese cosmetic brands MEISHOKU and MOMOTANI have launched their skin care and beauty products for the first time in Kathmandu, Nepal the other day. Both of these brands are owned by Momotani Juntenkan Ltd, a company with 136 years of history in cosmetics manufacturing in Japan and is well known globally for its acne care and other skin care products.

Momotani Juntenkan Company started with an acne care product BIGANSUI in 1885 and developed various skin care products over the time. The company had the honor of supplying cosmetics to the Japanese Emperor. Currently MEISHOKU and MOMOTANI brands are being sold in 25 countries across the world. The product availability ranges from Acne care, Skin care, Haircare to Makeup. All of these products are made in Japan, according to a press release issued by the company.

The company has officially entered in Nepal with Nepalese importing and marketing partner Laughing Yeti Trading Pvt. Ltd. Laughing Yeti Trading Pvt. Ltd runs popular Japanese stores KAIMONO Japan based in New Baneshwor and Pulchwok and TOUCHME Japan at Civil Mall. The entity was created by all young Nepali youths that are working internationally and with the aim of transferring the global knowledge to the Nepali society and produce young Nepali leaders through “Youth Empowerment” and “Female Empowerment”.

Laughing Yeti Trading has also opened its first Japanese Cosmetic and Skin Care store under the name KIREI COSME Japan, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. “The store aims to empower Nepali women and give easy access to the Japanese skin care products that are authentic, sustainable and are used by millions of women all around the world. KIREI COSME Japan exclusively sells Momotani and Meishoku Branded Skin care and cosmetics products. The store is located at New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, next to Kaimono Japan.” Swastima Khadka, a leading and influential actress, officially launched the brand and the store by cutting the ribbon at a programme. During the video message Hiroshi Wada, Corporate Officer and General Manager, Momotani Juntenkan Ltd Japan, said that the aim of the company is to enrich life and bring smile and happiness through these products.
