Nepalese delegation led by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, is participating in the 26th Conference (COP26) of the nations to United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) along with documents and reports featuring the country’s ambitious climate related goals.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Friday left for the United Kingdom leading the Nepali delegation to the World leaders Summit of the COP26 that kicked off in Glasgow. Deuba is set to address the world leaders Summit being held on November 1 and 2 on the occasion of COP 26. On the sideline of the global conference, Prime Minister Deuba is also scheduled to hold bilateral meeting with heads of state and Government as well as other senior dignitaries.
The Prime Minister is being accompanied by Minister for Forests and Environment, Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Poudyal, Secretary at the Ministry of Forests and Environment, Dr Prem Narayan Kandel, Finance Secretary Madhu Kumar Marasini, Home Ministry Secretary Tek Narayan Pandey, National Planning Commission (NPC) Secretary Kebval Prasad Bhandari, Chair of the National Trust for Nature Conservation, Dr Madhav Karki among others.
