
An earthquake of moderate magnitude had occurred in Udayapur district of Eastern Nepal Saturday late night. An earthquake measuring 4.3 magnitude was recorded at 10.51 pm on Saturday with epicentre located at Bagapati of Udayapur district, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre.
The earthquake was also felt by people residing in the neighbouring districts including Bhojpur and Khotang of Eastern Nepal. There was no immediate reports about any damage caused by the tremor.
Earlier in the morning of the same day, an earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitude was recorded in Taplejung district of Eastern Nepal.
