Prime Minister Balen Shaha exhibited great efficiency in initiating Prime Ministerial role while structuring new cabinet, preparing 100-point blueprint for good governance, anti-corruption and citizen-centric administration.

His Premiership is historic in many senses: it is first single party majority government with near two-third parliamentary majority; his cabinet-faces possess inclusivity, competence and sense of service to people; his ruling party evinced special skill in shaping post-election government in time.

With BS in top seat of Singha Durbar, the transactional politics nurtured in different ways by Deuba, Oli and Prachanda during 2008-2025period, has given way to mission-oriented service to the people.

Because of Balen Premiership, action against the trio-the unthinkable in the past- has been a reality today.

The government has taken action against corruption right from day one; legal steps have been undertaken against those who suppressed Gen Z movement, bold efforts are being made to make civil service and education free from politics; serious attempt is being made to make economy buoyant.

Indicators of initial days of PM Balen Shaha-RSP –government suggest that the new team means business; regards duty as highly important and service to people as the ultimate mission.

Senior politicos appreciate all the indicators that the new government has revealed right at the beginning. “A really promising start for a country which did not know what political stability meant for the past 35 years.”
