Former PM and UML chair Oli posted this photo in his social media on Saturday while congratulating Balen upon his victory from Jhapa 5 constituency. Oli congratulated Balen for the victory and also extended a successful tenure for him. The picture was taken some three years back, when Oli met Balen at the former PM’s house in Bhaktapur district after Balen wins the election to Kathmandu Mayor. He gifted the Tabla, traditional drum to Balen.
During a recent interview, a television journalist made a sarcastic remarks to Oli. You gifted the Tabla to Balen, but he played the Tabla on you by contesting election at your stronghold in Jhapa 5 constituency. Oli just gave a smile in response.
