
Nepal Policed have launched “Hamro Prahari ” campaign to enhance community-police relations. District Police Circle, Kathmandu on Sunday organized a special programme at Basantapur Durbarsquare with the participation of local representatives, senior police officers and distinguished personalities from various sections of the society
Addressing the programme Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dan Bahadur Karki remarked, Nepal Police will deliver its services to the people keeping with the spirit of the civilians. “Hamro Prahari” campaign will prove as a milestone in building a secured society by providing peace and security and deliver services as per the changing time and aspiration of the people,” he assured.
He underscored the need for deepening the relations between the police force and the civilians with a view to building a civilized society through guarateeing rule of law by executing the rules and regulations of the country.

Speaking on the occasion Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Sunita Dangol said, that the society cannot be safe without increasing the morale of the police force. She said that the KMC is ready to help in re-building the structures of Nepal Police that were damaged during the Gen Z movement in September.
The programme featured a group dance by the Nepal Police team, group dance, music concert and songs by various artists including the popular band belonging to Kuma Sagar as well as a drama showing the intimate relations between Nepal Police and the community for enhancing public security and guaranteeing law and order situation.
