NC General Secretary asks Govt. to make public Gen Z probe commission

Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradip Paudel, has urged the government to make public the report submitted by the Karki-led Commission on the inquiry relating to the suppression of the Gen Z movement in September last year. 

Taking to social media on Monday, General-Secretary Paudel asked the government to release the report prepared by the probe commission.

It may be recalled here that the had formed an inquiry commission to probe the incidents related to uprising of September 8 and 9 in which 76 people were killed

“It’s been long since the Commission submitted the report. It is unfortunate that the report is still undisclosed and keeping the report in dark has raised suspicions. It is the responsibility and duty of the government to make public the report,” he observed. 

According to Paudel the central working committee of the NC convened last Sunday had decided to formally urge the government to make public the report.
