
An earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitude hit Darchula district in Sudur Pashchim Province Sunday morning. The earthquake with epicentre located at Ghusa area of Apihimal Rural Municipality in the district was recorded at 8:28 am, according to National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre.
The earthquake was felt in the neighbouring districts of Darchula and Baitadi among others. However, there was no immediate reports of any damage caused by the tremor. Western Nepal is hit by a number of earthquake these days.
Earlier on November 30 an earthquake measuring 4.4 magnitude was recorded at Saipal mountain region in Bajhang district of Sudur Paschim Province.
