Seven people were injured when a clash erupted between Nepali and Chinese workers at Ziyan Himalayan Food Company in Marin Rural Municipality-4, Sindhuli on Monday.
Of the injured, two are Nepalis and five are Chinese workers. They are Nabaraj Bamjan, 30, of Marin Rural Municipality-6, Sindhuli; and Gokarna Katuwal, 22, of Katari Municipality-12 of Udayapur, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Sindhuli, Surya Prakash Subedi. Subedi said that five Chinese nationals sustained injuries on face and body parts. They have been receiving treatment at a primary health post, Kapilakot. The dispute erupted after the dismissal of Nabaraj Bamjan from work. Further investigation into the case is underway, according to the Sindhuli District Police.
