Tenzen honoured with International Pride Award in Malaysia

Young artist Tenzen Angdak Gurung, CEO of Tenzing Art Gallery has been honoured with “International Pride Award” during the International Award Summit 2025 held in Malaysia on November 23, 2025. The award summit was organized by TIAF-USA & India at Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Tenzen has been awarded by recognizing his exemplary service, achievement and contribution in the respective field, according to the organizer.

Tenzen is a recognized artist from Dolpo, a culturally Tibetan region in Nepal. Orphaned at a very young age, Tenzen’s childhood was very much painful and he went through many difficult experiences. However, he got an opportunity to visit a monastery in Sikkim, India, and began a seven year training in the art of thangka painting in centuries old tradition.
