Understanding China’s 15th Five Year Plan and its relevance for Nepal

The Friends of Silk Road Club – Nepal organized a national seminar on the theme “Understanding China’s 15th 5 Year Plan and its Relevance for Nepal’s Development Path” at Hotel Malla, Kathmandu on Wednesday. Academicians, policy makers, economists, political analysts, journalists and private sector representatives, who participated in the deliberations expressed their view on China’s national development strategy and ways to explore its potential implications and lessons for Nepal’s own policy planning and cooperation framework.

Min Bahadur Shrestha, former Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission delivered the key note address on the occasion. The experts who made their deliberations on the occasion include Gadesh Paudel, Jhalak Subedi, Prof. Sanjaya Acharya and Kalyan Raj Sharma, chair of Nepal – China Friendship Forum among others.
