Dream Weavers – II: children’s group art show at Classic

Thirty participants of group the art exhibition “Dream Weavers Vol. 2’ organized by Community Children Art School (CCAS) have been honoured with certificate of appreciation amidst a prograrmme at Classic Gallery, Lalitpur on Saturday. The art show was inaugurated by Puja Gautam, principal of Sanskar Sikshyalaya.

In total 108 art works created by artists from the age group 3 to 25 are on display at the show which will run till November 15. The young artists used pencil, water colour, acrylic, print and mix-media to express their creativity. The artists exhibited their art works after going through a short training programme at the Classic Gallery situated at Chakupat, Lalitpur.

“The child artists have expressed their imaginary power, view point and perception of beauty through their creative works,” remarked Sarita Dangol, chairperson of the Classic Gallery. “The main objective of the exhibition was to promote creative thinking, build self confidence and attraction towards the field of fine art among the children,” she pointed out.
