German humanitarian aids to flood victims in Sarlahi and Rautahat

Germany has provided 100,000 Euro as humanitarian aid in response to the flooding that hit Nepal in September 2024. “Deputy Head of German Development Cooperation Jan Dirksen and Assistant to Development Coopeation, Kabita Thapa visited the project sites located in Sarlahi and Rautahat districts this week and met with local communities, health officials, and government representatives,” according to a German Embassy press release.

ON the occasion, Mayor of Paroha Municipality Sheikh Wakil handed ove a letter of appreciation to the German Embassy recognizing the embassy’s contribution and partnership.

Implementation partners of German Embassy, One Hearth Worldwide, Campaign Nepal and Ratauli Yuva Club provided essential items to support affected young mothers in meeting their basis needs. The funds were used for renovation and equipment of WASH facilities to improve the medical service.
