April 1, 2025The five substitution bills sent by the House of Representatives (HoR) were passed by the National Assembly in a single session, clearing the way for the ordinances to become law.
The House of Representatives passed five replacement bills on March 17 and 19 and sent them to the National Assembly for approval.
The passed bills includes the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Good Governance Promotion and Public Service Delivery (Amendment), 2081; Cooperatives Bill, 2081 BS; Economic Procedure and Financial Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill, 2081 BS; Privatization (First Amendment) Bill 2081 BS and Improvement of the Economic and Business Environment and Investment Promotion Bill, 2081 BS.
The bills were passed by the National Assembly with amendments following clause-wise discussions.
