Why did the so-called nationalist group carry Aditya Nath’s photograph in the rally?

Controversy has surfaced after the pro-King demonstrators used the photograph of Yogi Aditya Nath, chief minister of Uttar Pradesh India along with the photograph of ex-King Gyanendra during the rally organized by the pro-monarchists in Kathmandu on Sunday to welcome the former monarch, who landed in Kathmandu airport from Pokhara. The photograph of Aditya Nath in the rally signifies that the organizers of the rally wanted to give the message to the people that neighbouring country India is behind the move to reinstate monarchy in the country and turning the country into a Hindu kingdom.

Although later a leader of the RPP denied that they had used the photograph of Aditya Nath and instead blamed the government to infiltrate into their rally to defame them, it is unlikely that the photograph be taken in the rally without the knowledge of the organizers.

Although some of the leaders of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party of India might have links with the pro-Hindu and pro-monarchy groups in Nepal at personal level, there is no possibility of the BJP backing pro-King movement in the country. Aditya Nath might have met the former King during the later’s visit to India, but it doesnt mean he had extended support to the ex-monarch’s move.

How can the pro-King group that wanted to be identified as stern nationalist use the photograph of foreign leader in their rally? Doesn’t this show their poor and slavery oriented mentality?
