India helps for the construction of operation theatre building of Rapti Eye Hospital

India has pledged to provide NRs 43.31 million to construct operation theatre building of Rapti Eye Hospital situated in Dang district of Western Nepal. The foundation stone was laid for the same at Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City, Dang on Tuesday.

The foundation stone for the construction of the operation theatre building of Rapti Eye Hospital was laid jointly by Tikaram Khadka, Mayor of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan Ciety and Basishtha Nandan, first secretary, Indian Embassy, Kathmandu.

The government of India’s grant under Nepal-India Development Cooperation is being utilized for the construction of an operation theatre building and other allied facilities, according to a press release issued by Indian Embassy, Nepal.
