UAE has banned Nepali film ‘Dukhi Aatma’ from screening. After the censor did not pass in the UAE, the demonstration in another Gulf country, Bahrain, has also been stopped. Due to its ‘adult’ content, the UAE did not allow ‘Dukhi Aatma’ to be screened. The local distributor submitted the film twice for the censors.

In the beginning, some scenes were asked to be cut, but the film was not passed in the second time. Saathibhai Entertainment handled the distribution of the film. However, this film has been passed by the censors of Qatar. The uncut film has passed through Qatar’s censors. The film is being screened bin Qatar from Friday.

The UAE has been banning films with sexual, homophobic and radical views. Many Hollywood and Bollywood movies have been banned by the UAE. In the UAE, there is a rule to watch movies by the ‘UAE Media Council’. The film has been released in Japan since Saturday. It will be released in South Korea from February 23. American and European distributors are not yet sold out. The film is being screened in Nepal.  Starring Dayahang Rai, Aanchal Sharma, Anup Vikram Shahi, Buddhi Tamang, Rare Rai and other actors, this film tells the story of men suffering from ‘ED’ disease.
