Independent MP Singh challenges Mayor Balen

Independent Member of Parliament Amresh Kumar Singh has raised objection on how Kathmandu Metropolitan City treated scrap vendors. He challenged Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah to demolish not just the scrap warehouse but also Singhdurbar. 

 Speaking at the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, he slammed the metropolitan police for demolishing a scrap warehouse in Teku on Sunday.

“I challenge Balen-if you have the courage, demolish the Parliament building. If you dare, bring down Singha Durbar. If you have the authority, tear down the Supreme Court, Baluwatar, and Sheetal Niwas. This Nazi-style mayorship will not work anymore,” Singh said.
