Kalpana elected Bagmati Province Climbing Committee president

The first general assembly and elections of the executive committee of Bagmati Province and Kathmandu Valley Committees of Nepal Climbing Sports Association have been concluded in Lalitpur on Saturday. Everest summitteer Kalpana Maharjan has been elected president of the Bagmati Province Committee of the NCSA, while Rupesh Adhikari has been elected president of Kathmandu Valley Committee of the association. Both the executive committees consist of nine members. Rabindra Maharjan and Suraj Basnet have been elected vice-presidents of the Bagmati Province Committee while Nabina Gurung and Doma Tamang are elected secretary and treasurer respectively. Shobha Sapkota Thapa, Vijaya Prasad Basyal, Ganga Tapa and Anup Subedi are elected members.

Similarly, Sridhar Paudel and Buddhiram Sharma are elected vice – presidents of the Kathmandu Valley Committee while Subas Subedi and Haribhakta Maharjan are elected secretary and treasurer respectively. Dawa Tasi Sherpa, Chandra Krishna Chakradar and Manish Maharjan are elected as members.

Deepak Lama, member secretary of Bagmati Province Sports Council was the chief guest during the general assembly.
