Umesh Shrestha appointed Nepali Congress treasurer

Nepali Congress has confirmed the appointment of Umesh Shrestha as the party’s treasurer. The central working committee meeting of the NC on Monday approved Umesh Shrestha as the party’s new treasurer. Party president Sher Bahadur Deuba had proposal his name to the post of party’s treasurer at the CWC meeting of the party on Monday.

Shrestha had earlier served as Minister of State at the Prime Minister’s Office. Shrestha, the co-founder of Little Angel’s Education Group had also served as the chairperson of the Private and Boarding Schools Organization (PABSON) Nepal.
