Over 1 million tourists visit Nepal in 11 months 

The number of foreign tourists visiting Nepal has exceeded one million. According to the Tourism Board, 1 million 55 thousand tourists have visited Nepal till November 2024. In 2024, 1.2 million tourists were expected to enter. However, as the tourist season is about to end, it seems that the expectation will not be fulfilled. According to the board, 1 lakh 14 thousand 501 tourists entered Nepal in the month of November this year. Even in November, the largest number of tourists came from India. In one month, 19 thousand 915 tourists have entered from India. America has become the second most visited country. 10 thousand 981 tourists have entered from America. Similarly, 9,458 tourists from China, 6,611 from Britain, 5,148 from Bangladesh, 4,829 from Australia, 4,462 from Thailand, 4,395 from Sri Lanka, 3,926 from Germany and 3,841 from France have entered Nepal. 

In 2023, 1 million 14 thousand tourists from different countries came to visit Nepal. In the year 2019, the highest number of 11 lakh 97 thousand tourists entered Nepal.
