NUSAN organizes panel discussion on the development of entrepreneurship

Nepal US Alumni Network (NUSAN) on Sunday organized Entrepreneurship Mela 2024 coinciding with the Global Entrepreneurship Week. A panel discussion on youth entrepreneurship along with food festival and musical performance were organized on the occasion.

A host of speakers speaking at the panel discussion underscored the need for engaging youths in entrepreneurship to make them economically independent and to resolve the problem of unemployment. Promotion of entrepreneurship will help unleash the potential of creativeness among the youths, they pointed out.

Miss Nepal 2024 Ashma K.C. Principal of Swostima Gurukul School Neha K.C., president of Young Innovation Bibhushan Bista and founder of Health At Home Bishal Dhakal, who participated in the discussion shed light on the importance of entrepreneurship and its challenges in the context of Nepal.

The discussion was facilitated by journalist Shivani Thapa. Mike Harker, Public Affairs Chief, US Embassy, Kathmandu expressed commitment to support develop entrepreneurship among the youths in Nepal. President of NUSAN Pravina Amatya highlighting various activities being carried out by NUSAN thanked the participants for their support to make the programme a success.
