Siddhartha Bank as title sponsor for NPL for 5 years

Siddharth Bank Limited has been associated with the Nepal Premier League (NPL) as the title sponsor for 5 years from 2024 to 2029.Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Friday awarded the title sponsorship rights for the upcoming NPL T20 cricket tournament to Siddhartha Bank Limited.

Organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal, the NPL 2024 is a franchise T20 cricket league with eight teams playing a total of 32 matches over three weeks.

Eight teams representing various provinces will compete in the NPL. Kathmandu Gurkhas, Chitwan Rhinos, Biratnagar Kings, Janakpur Bolts, Pokhara Avengers, Karnali Yaks, Lumbini Lions and Sudurpashchim Royals are participating in the event.

All the matches will be played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal. NPL 2024 will be played from 30th November 20th December.

Manoj Kumar Kedia, chairman of the bank, expressed the opinion that Siddharth Bank is associated with this league with the aim of taking the cricket of Nepal to a higher level.

Likewise, Sundar Prasad Kandel, chief executive officer of the bank, opinedthat this coordination of the bank will help to raise the level of cricket in Nepal and contribute to the economic and social development of the country.

In recent days, the cricket game has gained immense popularity among people of all age groups and as it is seen as a national spirit more than sports, Siddhartha Bank has joined as the title sponsor of Premier League for 5 years.
