AEPC celebrating 28th anniversary

Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) is observing its 28th anniversary in the premises of AEPC Office at Redcross Road, Tahachal, Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deeoak Kahdka has consented to be the chief guest at the function.

The celebrations will start with a blood donation programme followed by formal inauguration of the function, presentation of annual report of the AEPC and honouring various personalities and institutions making special contributions for the promotion of renewable energy.

AEPC is a government organisation established in November 1996.

The mission of AEPC is to make renewable energy and energy efficiency mainstream resources through energy accessibility, knowledge and adaptability contributing for the improved living conditions of people in Nepal and combatting climate change globally.
