Anila Shrestha, a noted choreographer, pageant director, and the National Director representing Nepal in various international beauty pageants, has been honored with the prestigious Excellence Award by the World Book of Records, London. This recognition celebrates her significant presence, dedication, achievements, and contributions in the pageantry and fashion industry.
The award was presented during a special event held in Kathmandu, where Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, was the chief guest. The former President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Bhawani Rana, handed the award to Anila Shrestha in front of an esteemed audience.
Anila’s journey in the field of beauty pageants commenced in 2005 when she participated in the Miss Newa competition, which marked her entry into the field of beauty pageant. Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the industry in Nepal, taking on key positions such as the Event Director and Choreographer at Green Arts Media Pvt. Ltd.
In 2019, she took part in the Mrs. Universe pageant as Mrs. Universe Nepal. Competing in Guangzhou, China, Anila reached the semifinals earning the special title of Mrs. Universe Loyal 2019.
