Nepal’s historic ‘clean sweep’ against America 

Nepal made a historic ‘clean sweep’ over America in the three-match T- 20 international series on Monday. Nepal defeated America by 8 wickets in Dallas. Along with this, Nepal won the series 3-0. Nepal won the first m

atch by 17 runs. The second match was tied and Nepal won the Super Over. Now, Nepal will play another series of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 involving USA and Scotland. 

USA presented a target of 157 runs to Nepal for victory and Nepal completed it by losing two wickets in 18.4 overs. Aasif, the opener for Nepal, scored 50 runs in 38 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. Kushal Bhurtel scored 40 runs in 32 balls. Kushal Malla scored 44 runs in 30 balls. Earlier, opener Anil Shah scored 13 runs. Bhurtel, who came to the third crease, and Malla, who came to the fourth crease, shared a half-century partnership.

Earlier for America, opener Siteja Mukamal scored 68 runs off 51 balls with five fours and two sixes. Milind Kumar scored 43 runs off 45 balls with four fours. Nepal’s Sompal Kami took three wickets.  Rijan and Lalit Rajvanshi had the same wicket. Dipendra, Kushal Malla, Gulshan Jha and Arif Shaikh remained wicketless.
