Prakash Rai, who recently won the title of ‘Mr. Kathmandu,’ has tragically passed away due to a heart attack. The 45-year-old bodybuilder, who secured the top spot in the 5th ‘Mr. Kathmandu’ bodybuilding championship, was taken to Grande Hospital on Wednesday morning after feeling chest pain.
Unfortunately, he passed away while undergoing treatment, according to hospital sources.
Rai, who had won the title in the 75 kg and above weight category, was originally from Belbari, Morang, and had been staying at a hotel with his team manager.
The police stated that further procedures will be carried out once his family arrives.
