STC honours different individuals and organizations

As part of its corporate social responsibility, STC on its anniversary distributes various awards under five categories to different individuals and organizations for their outstanding contributions in various fields. These include a) Laxmi Das Balhitkari Award; b) Ananga Man Sherchan Scholarship and c) Loknath Joshi Scholarship, d) Hem Bahadur Malla Staff Award and e) Ishwor Lal Singh Award.

The Balhitkari Award carrying a purse of Rs. 50,000 will be distributed to individuals or organizations making outstanding contributions in the field of educational, psychological, intellectual, moral and physical developments of children, while Ananga Man and Loknath scholarships will be provided to the boy and girl students, who are the children of the STC staff, for their excellent performances in SEE exams. Under this monthly stipend of Rs. 4,000 will be provided for two years to support their higher studies.

Hem Bahadur Malla Award carrying a purse of Rs. 30,000 will be provided to 1) gazetted, 2) non-gazetted and 3) un-categorized staff of the STC for their best performances.

Finally, Ishwor Lal Award carrying a cash prize of Rs. 35,000 will be provided to the best staff of the year.
