Minister for Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey said that the new government will formulate a tourism policy that would be suitable to the present circumstances. While assuming the office shortly after the swearing in ceremony minister Pandey said, a thorough study of the tourism sector will be conducted before framing the tourism policy.
He informed that the study committee formed for the purpose is required to submit a report along with recommendations within a period of three months. Millions of tourists can be attracted if we could create a conducive environment for large scale foreign investment in the sector.
In a different context tourism minister Pandey said that Nepalese people want assurance of good governance and minimization of corruption. The youths are looking for their future within the country, he pointed out adding the government will work towards fulfilling their aspiration. The government will work in a creative and constructive way in the tourism sector so that the hopes of the youths will be properly addressed, he assured.
