Sky Walk Tower is set to host Music and Food Festival on June 21, known as the longest day in the year. Nepal Music Association and Wonders Nepal are collaborating to organize the festival coinciding with the World Music Day.
This was informed by chairman of the association Milan Moktan during a press meet organized in Kathmandu on Monday. During the occasion the artists will present pop, metal and jazz music, according to Moktan. This time we are going to organize the festival in a different way, he added.
The festival will play an important role in popularizing the Sky Walk Tower, remarked CEO of the tower Kavindra Shrestha. We are also providing 50 percent discount to those wishing to visit the tower on that day, he informed. Sky Walk Tower charges a ticket amounting to Rs. 1,000 for Nepalese and Rs. 1,600 for foreigners. The programme also includes honouring musicians with various awards. Various musical personalities will be decorated with Fatteman Award, Premdhwoj Award, Kaliprasad Rijal Award and Pushpa Nepali Ward among others.
