In March Nepal witness arrival of 128,167 tourists

Nepal witnesses a significant rise in the influx of foreign tourists in March. According to the data published by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) in March alone, 128,167 tourists from various countries entered Nepal by air.

This represents a significant increase of 28.9 percent over the same month in the year 2023. In March 2023, the number of tourists who visited Nepal stood at 99,426.

In the month, the largest group of tourists came from India, that is 30,698.

In March 2024, a significant numbers of tourists arrived from several countries: 12,093 from China, 10,763 from America, 7,241 from Britain, 5,741 from Sri Lanka, 5,255 from Germany, 4,567 from Thailand, 4,345 from Australia, 3,240 from France, and 3,131 from Myanmar.
