Earlier, opting to bat first after winning the toss, Ireland Wolves faced early setbacks as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Despite contributions from Stephen Doheny (46) and Thomas Mayes and Liam McCarthy hitting equal 16 runs, they struggled to build substantial partnerships.

Their innings concluded at 121 runs in 20 overs, with Lalit Rajbanshi, Kushal Bhurtel and Gulsan Jha each claiming two wickets.
