An art exhibition titled “Inspire Inclusion 2024” has been launched at Classic Gallery, Chakupat, Lalitpur on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Twenty nine women artists including senior artists, showcased their artworks at the exhibition, which was inaugurated by Deputy Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Ms. Manjali Shakya Bajracharya coinciding with International Women’s Day.
The exhibition showcases art works done with a variety of mediums such as acrylic, sketch, print making technique as well as ceramic by prominent women artists including Shashi Kala Tiwari, Seema Sharma, Sarita Dangol, Manisha Shah.
Speaking on the occasion chief guest Bajracharya expressed the view that artists play a catalytic role in transforming the society as it helps to create positive vibes among us. She said that Lalitpur Metropolis has been launching various types skill development training as well as programmes to generate legal awareness targeting the local women.
“Classic Gallery has been organizing various programmes such as art workshops and training with a view to preserving and promoting art since its inception,” remarked Sarita Dangol, chairperson of the gallery. The gallery has been organizing events with giving special priority to young artists, women and differently able people, she pointed out.
Prominent film maker Prakash Sayami and French entrepreneur and social worker Annamaria Forgiore were among the prominent personalities, who attended the inaugural programme. The exhibition will run till April 20.
