Land Our Future organized a dinner reception to felicitate Riya Lama, Miss Tamang 2024. The programme was held on Feb 29 at the President Restaurant, Battisputali, Kathmandu.
During the function former Environment Minister Sunil Kumar Manandar along with members of Lof honoured Miss Tamang Riya by wrapping a shawl. On the occasion, she was also provided with a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the LoF.
Riya is also the cultural ambassador of Land Our Future. She expressed her gratitude for being a member of the organization. “ I can proudly say that Lof is my family, my biggest supporter, she remarked during the function. “They are the reason behind my success and achievement. I promise you I will bring positive and constructive transformation for the betterment of the Tamang community. “
Former Minister Manandhar handed her over a certificate and gift hampers. “ Riya is our daughter. Appointing her as a Cultural Ambassador was the right decision. Best wishes for future endeavors,” he said. The coordinator, Deputy coordinator along with members of LoF expressed warm gratitude towards Riya. Kalyani Shah, patron of the LoF and Miss Tamang 2021 Safalta Theeng Tamang also attended the program.
