Karan Chaudhary leads NADA

Karan Chaudhary has been elected unopposed as the president of the Nepal Automobile Distributors Association (NADA). He was elected unopposed for the top post of the association. Moreover, he has become the youngest ever president of the automobile umbrella body.

Chaudhary heads Suzuki four-wheelers, a company under CG Holdings, and executive director of Nepal Lube Oil Ltd, a distributor and producer of Gulf lubricants.

Following the election procedures, Chaudhary stated, “The entire auto sector is currently facing challenges, and our first priority will be to address those challenges collectively. We aim to amplify the voice of all auto and auto-related businesses in Nepal, drawing attention from relevant authorities. I am planning to address small issues on a larger scale.”

The NADA central committee meeting held on Friday,gave designation of Immediate Past President to Dhruva Thapa, the outgoing president. Similarly,the meeting elected office bearer positions and central committee members out of already elected persons by the AGM. A s per the decision Akash Golchha become Senior VP, PushkarOjha and Tej Narayan Shah as Institutional VPs, RajanBabu Shrestha and Nirakar Shrestha as VPs.

Likewise, Surendra Kumar Upreti become General Secretary, Bikram Singhania as Secretary, Milan BabuMalla as Treasurer and Pankaj Agrawal Joint Treasurer.

The meeting elected Sunil Rijal, Prakash Kapuri, KapilShiwakoti, Pradip Man Pradhan, Yamuna Shrestha, Sanjay Kumar Khetan, Nawa Raj Bhushal, Riddhikarki, Dipendra Kumar Mishra and SaurabhThapa as central committee members. The meeting also elected Sanjay Bahadur Shrestha, Kul Bahadur Chhetri, Krishna Prasad Shrestha, Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai and Bhadra Bhandari as Institutional members.

Likewise, the meeting nominated Megh Raj Paudel, Nilmani Pathak and Sohan Shrestha as central committee members.

Similarly, from the institutional side, members that were elected unopposed are Sanjay Kumar Shrestha from Automobiles Dealers Association Morang, Tej Narayan Shah from Automobiles Association of Nepal Janaki, Kul Bahadur Chhetri from Automobiles Association Chitwan, Krishna Prasad Shrestha from Paschimanchal Automobiles Dealers Association, Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai from Lumbini Automobiles Association of Nepal, Bhadra Bhandari from KarnaliPaschim Automobiles Dealers Association, and Pushkar Raj Ojha of Sudurpaschim Automobiles Dealers Association.

Earlier, in the election procedures, all posts were elected unanimously. The 47th annual general body meeting held recently elected Karan Chaudhary to the post president and others as members unanimously.
