The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting, which was originally scheduled for Monday, has been postponed until Tuesday.  The house was postponed following obstructions put by the main opposition CPN UML demanding formation of a high level committee to probe into 100 kg gold smuggling scam.

The HoR meeting has been rescheduled for 1:00 pm on Tuesday, according to Federal Parliament Secretary-General Dr Bharat Raj Gautam.

The lower house session on Monday was supposed to be informed about the suspension of Top Bahadur Rayamajhi as an HoR member, and to be proposed to give approval for sending the ‘Nepal University Bill, 2080 BS’ to the respective committee for clause-wise deliberations.
