No entry to bi-cycle in Hotel Soaltee

Hotel Soaltee security guards have stopped the newspaper distributors of The Nepal Weekly from the main entrance gate the other day saying that bi-cycles are not allowed inside. Earlier, they did not object entry of people riding on bi-cycle inside.

Does this mean the five star hotel has upgraded itself  or degraded its service. At a time when other organizations are encouraging the use of bi-cycles due to their environment friendly nature, the Soaltee Hotel has surprised all by introducing this new rule.
