Three Nations Cup title to Nepal

Nepal has won the Prime Minister’s Three Nations Cup football tournament title. Nepal lifted the champion trophy by defeating Laos 2-1 at Dasharath Stadium on Friday. Nepal scored the decisive goal in the 87th minute of the second half. Ayush Ghalan and Manish Dangi scored one goal each in Nepal’s win. In the 17th minute of the game, Fouchangvong Sangvi scored the opening goal for Laos. In the 24th minute of the match, Nepal’s Ayush Ghalan scored the equalizing goal. In order to defend the title, Manish Dangi scored a goal for Nepal in the 87th minute of the match against Laos after passing Anjan Bista.

In the final match, Manish Dangi of Nepal’s number 21 jersey became the man of the match. Ayush Ghalan of Nepal’s jersey number 19 has got the title of the best player. The winner of the competition, Nepal, received a prize of 5,000 US dollars, and the second-placed Laos received a prize of 3,000 dollars. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ awarded trophies and prizes to the winners and runners-up.
