Nepal and the USA organise Bilateral Land Forces Talk

United States Army and Nepal Army team are participating  in a Bilateral Land Forces’ Talk in Kathmandu from March 27 to 29, 2023. Such kind of talks are being organized every year regularly, alternately in Nepal and USA. Last year a talk between the two armies was organized in Hawaii, USA, according to a press release issued by the Nepal Army.

This time the discussions will focus on four subjects, Peace Keeping, Humanitarian Assistance, Disaster Management Training and Subject Matter Expert Exchange. This time 14 officials from Nepal including officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Finance Ministry, Ministry of Defence and Nepal Army will participate in the talks. A team of 22 personnel led by the Deputy Commander Major General Christopher Smit of the Pacific Command of USA has arrived in Kathmandu to participate in the talk.
