Mega Bank inks agreement with Kinniho to help small scale business

Mega Bank Nepal Ltd. has signed an agreement with Kinniho Pvt. Ltd. for the promotion of agriculture business of small farmers with a view to helping them through digital banking. Tulsiram Pokharel, acting CEO of Mega Bank and Bigyan Ghimire, chairperson of Kinniho inked an agreement to this effect at the corporate office of the Mega Bank at Kamaladi on Sunday, according to a press release. Under the agreement the Mega Bank will provide loans in subsidized interest rates to migrant Nepalese workers returning from foreign country and small and medium scale farmers at the recommendation of Kinniho for doing new business or expanding their business as per the instructions of the Nepal Rastra Bank.

CEO Pokharel expressed commitment that the bank will provide loans to cottage, small and medium scale enterprises with subsidized interest rates in a speedy manner. Chief of Kinniho Ghimire said that Kinniho has collaborated with Mega Bank as the bank has been providing subsidized loans to cottage, small and medium scale enterprises on priority basis.
