Nepali Congress party has opened its first account in House of Representatives from Mustng district. Nepali Congress candidate, Yogesh Gauchan Thakali has been elected to the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) in Mustang. He defeated CPN-UML candidate Prem Tulachan, who secured. Gauchan secured 3,992 votes against his opponent Prem Tulachan from CPN (UML), who received 3,078 votes.

Similarly, Bikal Sherchan and Namdu Gurung of the NC also emerged victorious in Mustang Provincial Assembly. Bikal has been elected Provincial Assembly member from Mustang (2) and Namdu has won the election from Mustang (1).
