113 year old cast vote from Tanahu

In Tanahu district an elderly woman aged 113 year has cast her vote for the member of the House of Representatives (HOR), and Provincial Assembly (PA) elections, according to officials.

Gopi Maya Pokhrel, 113, cast her vote at the polling centre situated at Mahadebatar Primary School situated at Sepabagaicha of the Bhanu Municipality in Tanahun district. Her citizenship certificate shows her date of birth dated June 22, 1909. She is the eldest person to cast vote in Sunday’s election in Nepal.

Similarly, in Myagdi district 107 year old Jasmani Kami also cast her vote at the polling centre located at Rastriya Secondary School in the district.
