Manisha calls to vote for pro-Hindu Rastriya Prajatantra Party

Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala addressing an election rally in Kathmandu on Friday called people to vote for pro-Hindu and pro-monarchist Rastriya Prajatantra Party led by Rajendra Lingden. Prior to this she also addressed an election meeting at Pokhara in Syangja district.

I have been impressed by RPP president Rajendra Lingden who is voicing against corruption and I call upon people to vote for his party, she said. Manisha said she has been very much influenced by the election manifesto published by the RPP, which is also voicing against corruption. To make strong his voice against corruption in the Parliament people need to vote as much as possible in favour of RPP, she pointed out.

RPP President Lingden has claimed that RPP is the only alternative at this moment adding the country has become victim of undeclared syndicate among a handful of political parties. Corruption has become institutionalized and those involved in small scale corruption has been penalized while leaders in high position including ministers have been spared from such action, he claimed.
