India to be key partner in Nepal Infrastructure Summit 2022

Nepal is hosting International Infrastructure Summit with the theme “Infrastructure for Growth” in Kathmandu on September 8 and 9 with a view to attracting foreign investment in the much needed infrastructure sector. Nepal Infrastructure Summit 2022 is expected to attract around 1,000 delegates from two dozen countries and India will be the key partner of the infrastructure summit.

In this connection President of Confederation of Industries (CNI) Vishnu Kumar Agrawal recently called on Gen. Vijay Kumar Singh, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, government of India to hand over an invitation. State Minister Singh will be the guest of honour during the upcoming infrastructure summit, according to CNI. An official invitation from Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Nepal has already been forwared to state minister Singh.

Retired General Singh, Minister of State in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India would be the guest of honor at the upcoming Nepal Infrastructure Summit on Sept 8-9, 2022 to be organized by Confederation of Nepalese Industry and Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport.

“Nepal has also adopted Public Private Partnership Concept for speedy development in road, transport and other infrastructure sectors. The Indian success story in infrastructure development is expected to inspire the Nepalese policy makers and entrepreneurs to think differently towards infrastructure development,” remarked Agrawal talking to The Nepal Weekly.
