NMB Bank opens women-led branches in 7 provinces

NMB Bank has announced women-led and women-only branches in all seven provinces of Nepal, with the vision of empowering women.

According to a press release issued by the bank, Tankisinuwari branch in Province 1, Mahottari branch in Madhesh Province, Balkhu branch in Bagmati Province, Chauthe branch in Gandaki Province, Bhalwari branch in Lumbini Province and Dhangadhi branch in Sudurpaschim Province are all led by women.

“The bank believes in empowering women to succeed as entrepreneurs and leaders would craft the makings of a truly sustainable Nepal as 51.04 percent of women accounts for the total population of the nation.”
